The Award Winning Energy Guardian 10" Frame Attic Hatch Kit eliminates energy loss through standard attic hatch openings and meets NEW 2009 IECC Code Requirements. Proven, superior results due to R-39 insulating value, revolutionary air seal and 20 year warranty. Frame and lid design also creates code mandated permanent retainer. Lightweight and easy to install/use. Hatch comes with a handle. Use this cover if your length & width of opening in attic is equal to or less than 26 x 31 inches and your clearance above the hatch opening is greater than 16 inches.

Each kit is comprised of a lid weighing approximately 5 lbs. and a frame less than 3 lbs.
